Trader

The trader has as a mission to do financial hedging, investments or speculations on behalf of institutions or for his clients. The trader buys and sells on one or several markets according to his more or less strong specialization.
He can intervene on a lot of markets like the share market, the bond market, the options market or the exchange market…
He has to analyze the tendencies of the different markets and take advantage of the purchasing and selling opportunities of the markets.
He also has to deal with the risk in the trading desk via financial products reserved to professionals of the financial markets.
The traders often called « golden boys » in general work in great banks, in stock broking houses, in investment funds or certain great firms that had to put in place the trading desk to manage for example the exchange risk he has to face with.
The trader is a man of action who must be very fluent in English, have a perfect knowledge of the financial markets, have a good stress control, be able to anticipate, be extremely responsive….
